 Single-Family Unit – ERU-SFHThe ERU-SFH Single-Family Unit is the cornerstone of the Green Horizon mission to provide safe, humane, cost-effective emergency housing for distressed families in need.In its standard configuration, the ERU-SFH will accommodate up to six people comfortably in an environmentally-responsible, fully-featured home, equipped with essential supplies and completely independent of outside services. Each ERU-SFH unit consists of two bedrooms with built-in furniture and storage; a bathroom with shower, sink, and low-flow commode; an efficiency kitchen; and enough food, water, bedding and hygenic supplies for up to one week.    Like all Green Horizon structures, ERU-SFH features include:Green DesignEnvironmentally-responsible, energy-efficient design is manufactured from 100% recyclable or recycled materials.
Completely Self-SustainingBuilt-in
water supply, waste water storage, power system, heating and cooling
system, and all the necessary equipment and supplies for the unit's
function. Standard RV-style connections enable use of available
infrastructure and utilities.
Fully-TransportableUnit
collapses to fit inside a worldwide standard, 40' high cube marine
shipping container, for transportation by land or sea anywhere in the
world. An integrated trailering system enables transportation of
individual units by truck.
Rapid DeploymentGreen
Horizon structures are easily deployed by as few as two people in a
matter of hours, without any special skills or training required. In
fact, everything needed to setup a Green Horizon unit ships within the
unit itself.
Hub ConceptNetworkable as part of a multi-unit hub, to take advantage of shared resources for long-term deployment.
