Manufacturing Facility

Located on Rough and Ready Island at the Port of Stockton, California, Green Horizon operates an 80,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, with an additional 360,000 sq. ft. under contract.These facilities provide Green Horizon with the production capacity to build and maintain a large inventory of available units for immediate shipment.

Surrounded by first-class warehousing and materials handling facilities, Green Horizon's manufacturing location is situated at the hub of four major freeways, two transcontinental railroads, an international waterway, and a regional airport – enabling Green Horizon to rapidly respond whenever and wherever a need arises.

Green Manufacturing Processes

Green Horizon is committed to a manufacturing process that reflects the highest level of environmental responsibility. Our facilities have applied for LEED Platinum and Energy Star certifications, which will make Green Horizon the first high-performance structures of their kind to be certified with these internationally-recognized benchmarks for the design, construction and operation of green facilities.

Reclamation and Recycling Program

In addition to these certifications, Green Horizon's facilities also maintain a comprehensive recycling program, where nearly all waste materials used in the manufacturing of Green Horizon structures – many of which originated from recycled materials – are reclaimed, sorted and recycled.

Quality Management System

Innovation is one of the cornerstones of Green Horizon structures, and a policy of strict quality control and continuous improvement is built into all of our manufacturing processes. Though not formally accredited, Green Horizon's quality management systems have been designed in preparation for planned application for ISO certification.
