Green Horizon - On demand, self sustaining, housing solutions

Central Hub

Networking and Expansion Capabilities

More than an individual solution, each Green Horizon structure can be seamlessly networked with other units to create an interconnected, self-sustaining community or administrative center.

An entirely new disaster relief concept, the Central Hub was designed to provide a safe, clean and functional environment for relief workers and their families to live and work, while providing housing, medical and educational services to those in need.

Central Hub Configuration

The Central Hub Consists of Eight or More Green Horizon Structures That Are Placed Side-by-Side in a Community Setting to Provide Shelter and Operating Offices in a Disaster Situation:

  1. Water Purification & Storage Unit – ERU-WPS
  2. Administration Unit – ERU-ADM
  3. Communication & Power Unit – ERU-COMM
  4. Commissary Unit – ERU-CC1
  5. Community Center – ERU-CC2
  6. Bunk House Unit – ERU-BUNK
  7. Medical Unit – ERU-MED
  8. Bunk House/Outpatient Unit – ERU-BUNK

The Central Hub incorporates several important systems, enabling it to provide essential services to up to 250 additional Green Horizon units

Power System

The ERU-COMM Communications & Power Unit functions as a power system for the Hub as well as other connected units. In addition to providing power through its 50,000 kw generator, the ERU-COMM can also store extra electrical capacity generated by the power systems of the individual units in a storage bank of 42 batteries. This allows the Central Hub and connected units to share power when necessary.

Water Supply System and Waste Water Reclamation

Through the ERU-WPS Water Purification & Storage Unit, the Central Hub is designed to provide purified watter in a low-pressurized system. This is accomplished through the use of integrated bladders that can purify up to 10,000 gallons of water a day. Water taken from local resources can be purified, then pumped into the holding tanks of the ERU-WPS unit, and distributed to the Hub and any additional units connected to the system

The Waste Water Reclamation side of the system is designed to gather the grey water in a central location, and purify it to a state in which it can be released without harm to the environment – such as watering crops.
